We have bad lag issue already, we donīt need more options of producing lag.

No need of a "trade function" for the landmarks.
Just store them in a personal file for each computer in the main Entropia Universe folder

When you load the map, the game loads the markers in the log stored in the hard-disk...
No server load, and everyone is happy...

No additional lag, since It's your choice to use the markers or not

See, I was thinking more along the lines of only one marker... only you see the marker...

This one marker, you can move whenever you want, for free, and, remove it if it's annoying your radar...

kinda like in that one open ended rpg game that starts with an O... I have it on xbox...

You mean the one that is the fourth in a series where the third part starts with "M"? if so I have both on computer even though the O one laggs (looks like a comic when I play although I have over 80 hours anyways)

But anyway, in these games there are GREAT maps/markers

That was what i was thinking also. The marker would be just an aid for navigating the map.

And why should they be tradable . Tradeble mapmarkers is not what I had in mind. It would just be one helpful personal moveable dot on the map for only you to see. And the data for this marker could be ofc on the players harddrive.



Is it allowed to use names of non-online pc games to use for an example?

one marker stored at your harddisk is the beginning, then come more and more, as comunity always wants more.

Next step, the marker visible for teammembers, hey serversided, no more on your computer.

Next step as comunity wants it sooner or later, tradeable/copyable markers especially for miners to mark good mining spots aso.

And there we are!

I see this problems as I know this problems from other MMO.
This other company operating this other MMO removed all these options for reasons!
