3 malls each 3 floors, all the shops in every apartment building and then the shops in the cave. this takes ages.

I would love it Ebay-style.

I don't think it would make it easy for resellers, they look every day, every minute, so no chance they would miss an item...

Especially for armor it would be great, so you can look for a whole set, and a 'remember offer' butten would be priceless!

excellent idea, imo. this would help boost competition between auct and shop prices, and generally would keep prices more moderate; at least for everyday items such as L weapons/amps/etc.., and such.

if MA is scared of database stress, then just limit the searches to one every minute or so.

Good Idea. I would also like to see a "items i am watching" feature & when sellin g, to be able to set the price to the exact pec, not to be limted to an even Ped amount.
All of these features are available on ebay & for anyone who uses ebay, are very noticably missing when using the ingame auction.

I think a search is a good idea.

More valuable, however, would be a listing of all items for sale in a mall, like the auction. Go the to the front of the mall and see the listing of all items, price, and shop # for every item in the mall.

Right now I don't even bother going through the malls shopping. It takes way too much time to go through a single floor of a mall, let alone the entire mall..for 3 malls. Just make a mall info person, like an auctioneer, outside each mall. Would be huge for mall shop owners and buyers alike

Ok, after many hours of searching auction, line by line, all I ask for is a simple column sort by clicking on the column header. After glancing through 20+ pages scanning for a keyword, it is a lot of eye strain.

I played Vanguard for some time, and really liked their auction system. It rocked and was a big help. Us crafters have enough on our plate making stuff without scheduling 2 hours a day scanning auctions.
