Thanks for the link to the long version of the game history. As a new player I never had the chance reading it from the official source.

That there are robots not liking humans was somewhat obvious from the "intro", but to know the background I think is really important for those who are interested in a storyline at all. I do hope MA put the long version back online & continue it at some point. But I hope the took time to get this cry2 stuff working first; even the best storyline wont help a game which can´t be played because of a nasty overseen bug.

Maybe they release the continuation together with the new engine.

Sadly this is not the first time that near briliant ideas and work from people with heart and soul have been squashed when they join the ranks of the moneymen with focus on expansion and profit

I really hope that Marco and his lot one day soon sits down and take a good look at where they are heading was the dream really to be to bussy for the game ? was the dream to be so bussy that the storyline becomes a standing joke among the users ?

For starters EU is not an RPG, so it really doesn't have a story. Though it did kind of have a story...

While it may be an MMO...

I guess they are once again putting other things in front of the story Expansion anyone?

I hope so.

You know I am no fanboi, but I am willing to keep the positive momentum going. I have a seen a few changes lately that make MA *seem* like they are trying. I have wanted a change so badly that if I can see that wheel start to spin in a positive direction, I'll put my shoulder to it.

Perhaps the recent lack of a messed-up VU is making me more forgiving .

All the things that MA has been doing of late (Ambassadors, more communication, etc.) could be seen as self-serving, but I am trying hard to see the glass half-full. CryEng2 seems like a pitcher of water poised to make our glass runneth over...but time will tell.

Radio, you taked me back from chucking it all...so if I am staying, lets see what we can do, eh?
