Music Tracks by Avatrs / Players System?

When I was new to EU I liked the background music tracks alot. Still like them actually. After some time the repition of each file becomes too used maybe.
In my opinion it would fit the game´s concept if Avatars/ players could add a self written track which can be downloaded in-game by other participants and voted on. If it has high votes on it MA might consider to add it to the background music playlist.

But please, do not replace Lars Falk`s tracks. Would be a slap in the face for him. :O His music is truly awesome !

McCormick is very right here. Some old trax accutally makes me remeber my first time in EU, when music was more a part of the experience, and still it, becouse of MA´s composer. Very smooth music to listen to, and fits EU like a glove!

I messaged MA years ago if they where interrested in Participants music, but they told me they had no such plans. So, thats why EU ( and MA), is happy to
have a guy like JamHot, who takes care of this, that MA dosnt seem to interrested in. Im sure, when Jam is rdy, MA will have noiced the full future of
PC (Player uploaded content). Jam does a great jobb, on this, and one day we might se.

Theres a russian RCE game beeing produced now. Not close to EU (yet atleast), but they got a buil in player, where you can change trax etc. Thats a small stepp. Brining real EU ppl music into the game is really what Im here for. Oh yeah, Whining & ATH to.

But, I got all my confidence in Jamhot on the Media side. He proved he´s
atleast 10 times more interrested in player content/media then MA.
Hopefully they get their eyes open one day and see the potentials.

If I start to think about copyright issues I'd say I can see why MA isn't working on that topic.

I don't know how Jamhot is handling this but if you want to introduce the rest of the EU galore to your self-written music I'd get in touch with him.

I would like to see MA add a system ingame wherein one could buy player made Music and Vids (PC) without it being attached to a Display (Maybe some form of Media system like DVDs in the Real World) then the player could ADD it to their display to play the content. (like adding AMPS to Guns)

I think you would get alot more Player Content uploaded and viewed if the system wasn't so clunky, like it is now.

Not good. Copyright issues would not be a problem if MA interrested themself
for getting EU palyer to release music, or use our music under CC licence, as

MA would get "free" music, artist would get PR.

Its alot worse letting people upload whatever they want on MA servers :p

Maybe MA will institute a change in the (PC) system when they upgrade to Crysis.

Maybe if we make enough Wishlist threads they will pay attention.

Royaltys is only for the people that upload pics d/l from google, or that
sell pics in gallerys claiming its theirs, and its not.

Trust me, I´v been in the underground music "scene" since 1998, we
tracked musicon a 0,2 meg program. One guy got real big, even close to
contract, before someone figured out they heard these songs before.

So he dissapared. I was in a group with him, and was backstabbed, since
we also togheter took rights to kick more "inactive" mebers. It turned out,
some of us produced, some stole.

Thins is, this can happend here, and probably has.

MA, not sure if they give rats yet. Youtube got quite suid though, just so
they know. So, back to the PLAYER content.

If MA, and other people, buisness or whatever (it suprises me that not so
many shops in malls, yet have paid a few peds to get music in their shops
right now, as possible, when paying HUGHE bills for just beeing there. PR.

Anyway, alot of people here would LOVE to participate in one way or the
other. To make money, or for free, to hopefully make PR.

Its kinda sad MA (mostly), dosnt take this FREE opportunity.

PC will NOT get lawyers involved, as long as MA promotes the REAL artists,
and not the scammers, or showoffs.
