Well a new planet = a new world = a new game or universe, it doesn't have to be connected with Calypso (other then you being able to travel from one to the other). The chinese planets we've been hearing about will be for shopping, education and so on.
With that in mind I'd like an action world where you can go and use your Entropia equipment to kill eachother (you know, typical multiplayer shoot em up style) using your weapons from Calypso - but without ammo/decay cost. Instead you'd pay some sort of monthly fee - plus cost to get there, which goes to the pilot, and plus the cost to purchase weapons on Calypso (I'm thinking how fun it would be to use the worst eco most dmg weapons and not worry about the cost to have fun with them). Of course there would be "free" weapons for new people joining that game and if they want to use the bigger and better ones, they would have to travel to calypso - skill up and then buy the weapons (and armor?) they need. A unique look would not be hard to accomplish as there are several beauty specialists and tailors on Calypso as well. |

Ackbal Cimi would rule.
Could add a special type of suit you need to survive there (or maybe just another pvp shot) since they are bots, they dont need the atmosphere that us Humies do to survive so the terrain will be MUCH harsher. (talkin lava flows ... ultra deep ravines, ultra high/low extreme temps etc.) Add new robot tech to be taken back to Calypso and reverse engineered. Add new materials due to the tech lvl of Ackbal Cimi. Add new robot types, since this is their home planet, they should have maintence droids etc running around as well. Ooooorrrr.. you could make Ackbal Cimi kinda like a terminator warzone,(After years of fighting on Cimi we FINALLY make contact with our lost warfighters (a small group of commandos was secretly sent out after the first robot war with orders to establish a forward base) on Ackbal Cimi and coordinate operations to finally open a TP from Calypso to Ackbal.) This would give us a "beachhead" to start Calypso operations from. Oh yeah.. and what Sirhc said.. gotta have artifacts. Something to find that does SOMETHING... teleport you to a random location , blow up in your face, etc but some kinda random event would be awesome. "You detect a strange signal" run 200 meters.. and instead of a space ship, find a small group of survivors, they reward you with 50 ped (or whatever) when you inform them of the location of the beachhead. Yes, Akbal-Cimi is a great plan, but perhaps a bit ambitious to start off with. Instead may I suggest my home planet of Janus 2. It also needs no creating, as it has been part of the Project Entropia canon since the days of yore (yes, sadly now mostly forgotten with cosmetic manuals squeezing out history books from EU bookshelves
).http://www.bahq.net/images/maps/solar_system.gif I've been away such a long time and would be just happy as larry to get back to my old home world again! Its quite a mysterious place, with mindforce powers amplified by the binary magnetic field the planet shares with its larger, nearly lifeless sister planet of Janus 1. The mining on Janus 2 is the main attraction however, with several metamorphic ore varieties not found on Calypso. I do however have some serious concerns about returning, and worry and wonder what might be left? When a small band of fellow survivors and I were finally forced to flee years ago, Miner Bots and a smaller contingent of Big Bulks had descended in droves, each protected by 5 troopers and a SEG! Our mindforce powers (even with the added boost) were no match for the wicked metal beasts. It was with heavy hearts that we boarded the escape pod that sent us on the perilous journey to Calypso. What glory would await if we could gather a force of intrepid humans to retake Janus 2 from the menacing robots, and restore one of the galaxies finest worlds to its former idyllic magnificence! When our orbits fall into proper alignment, Janus 2 is the closest planet to Calypso (see link). While it would take a few nifty technological enhancements, our existing hangar based ships should be able to get there with limited modifications. Lets get our top minds working on it right away! Leave your mascara on the nightstand people. We have the technology! We have the will! It's payback time! |
