Actually that was CRD's overly ambitious plan.
Not that MA encouraged them to be realistic though.

Till i hear otherwise from reputable sources, that's what i'm sticking to.

I'de love Akbal and Cimi, but to be honest, we all know the first planets will hit some major pot-holes. Besides, there is so much that can be done with the storyline on calypso still. The sooner we get to Akbal-Cimi, the sooner the storyline comes to a close. I'de rather they just continued it at all and let it drag on(not to the point where it becomes repetative of course).
I say bring on the oceans and then worry about the planets.

If i had to give ideas?
Most developers won't create a(n) PE/EU clone anyway, so i say create the following:
*A new generation of strategy game.
- Rather than NPCs', players take the roles of the various unit types.
- Land/Air & Sea battles simultaniously, as most are fought on one plain only.
- A team of generals/etc stay in a base and plan out the strategies with a live map and send forth orders to the players. (This team is made of players aswell)
- Bother sides are, of course, completely built up of players.
- Before hand certain things may be decided, such as number of troops on either side to counteract unbalanced forces(to even used to purposely unbalance for the added challenge).
I.E.
Team A
-------
500 infantry
100 aircraft
50 sea vessels

Say there are only 50 people who have signed up as infantry for this war(match), this would mean that everytime a person dies and respawns, the 500 counts down, so in theory - each infantry is allocated, 10 lives. However it would be more fun to service it as first come, first served, so that player a may only use 5 lives before the end, yet player z may use 60. You could raise in rank (this games version of our skill system) for taking enemy lives, while losing for being killed). Reward the skilled, rather than the rich.

Who was it 'said, "Bring me the head of an enemy, and i shall promote you"? I'm sure it was either Ceaser/Augustas or Mark Anthony, but that is of little importance, the sentiment is what matters. This would ensure merit and ability tops a good RL background for the most part. The would also be minus ranks to an extent (never to the point where you couldnt possibly recover however). This would allow for skill based weapon systems which like on P.E/E.U the higher your rank the better you are with which ever weapons you've done most killing, with etc. So it's realistic in that a guy who picks up a gun RL isn't going to be as good with it as a soldier with 15 years weapons training.

Hell, a boot camp would be a possibility aswell. I say this because remember what MA stated, our avatars will travel through the universe, so though each world is seperate, being versed in Entropian Skills doesn't mean we aren't complete noobs on another world. I see this as a possitive though. I don't buy a game expecting to be level 83 at the get go, that's pointless to me, i'm in it for the fun and the challenge, and there isn't anywhere near as much fun if there is no challenge.


Once you have signed up for a unit deisgnation pre-war, you cannot switch. E.g. Sign up as infantry and you can't decide to become a pilot half way through. This way, once one section of the forces falls you cannot recover it, giving more relevance to the strategy team.

Also, each unit can interact, i.e. infantry can request passage via ship or an airstrike via plane. This also means that if your airforce defeats the enemies they have no obstacles to giving their full attention to the enemy naval forces or land forces. (They could do so anyway, but before they had the enemy airforces to worry about).


I've only given this the same amount of thought as the time it's taken me to write this, but i rather like the thought of this sort of situation as i love strategy based activities. As long as this incorporated this sort of thing so that it was alive and far closer to the real thing, i see it being rather popular. Would be like mixing Call of Duty, Command and Conquer and several other games in one and would attract the players of said games. Lag would be a problem, though im sure something could be sorted by the time it was developed, even if it's just a massive bunch of purchased servers.
It's not everyones cup of tea, of course. But i wreckon it could do very well and it's better than me suggesting a PE/EU clone with one or two extra features.

I would love a miners paradise...

I mean I think it's only fair considering that CP is only hunting, there should be a planet that is only mining.

A few notes about this new planet...

- Mining claims will be bigger and mining equipment will function much the same as on CND

- Preferably we can get a away from the "dome" style... I'm not a fan of domes, it really does limit the amount of space available for mining. It would be nice if the mining planet were the size of amethera and had TP's all over it. Allowing people to run freely to new areas.

- The ore/enamtter selection should be widely varied... Perhaps the new planet won't have certain ores that can be found planetside or on cnd but will have certain ores that can't be found anywhere else.


That's my thoughts... a new planet - I'm hoping for a miners paradise! A place miners can go to mine without worry of being slaughtered by huge mobs.

Hmm I'd like a place where you can do gathering, gardening, farming, fishing. Hunting in special parks... you can do stuff every step of the way. No such thing as a "boring" run.
Lovely nice houses everywhere with pavements and roads. Oceans with explorable underground caves.

I'd love to see a planet, let's call it PE, where :
- chipping is nerfed as far as you please, not natural skilling
- introducing new armor parts means free new ones at least for everyone having a full set until that and enough of them in loot for those who want to complete the set later
- enough top items drop frequently enough to balance the price or even just to keep the inflation a bit more realistic (not just a bla-bla everyting still drops)

there's more but those are the first issues to be solved this moment on that planet.

Where people can enjoy Music / Crzy and funny Mind blowing Displays and screens and in every city Sofa,s to sit on instead of standing at wall for reselling.

@ every outpost a auctioneer so evan when ure not in town u can just connect to the auctioneer .

A nooby oil rig (non pvp) where 1 ped oil drops every 2 min in a range of 500 - 500 meters so not just one person will get all the oil *.* with alot of new (Snable) kinda space creatures to make it a chalange for nooby

A uber oil rig that drops 10 ped oil every 2 min in a range of 100 - 100 meters with alot of realy big (Araneatrox) space creatures to make it chalange/proffitble to the uber socities to keep defending this area *.*

A Casino with Slot machines with paplons and karoot and marco ma simbols / and afcourse RoulPed tables / Pedker Tables ( for the noobys ofc the pec machines to try there luck ^^

Also I'd like to have planets which are completely off from what Calypso is based on. I'm thinking about different themes:
  • something like Disneyland or Six-Flags with stuff like rollercoasters, bumper cars (sometimes the simple entertainment is the one which keeps us entertained over a longer period of time)
  • realistic cities painted and textured in Earth's 1800s, 1850s, 1920s, 1970s, 1990s
  • a zoo with extincted and existing animals (not necessarily to kill them)
  • referring to all kinds of different movies (e.g. Terminator, The Truman Show (don't make me list more you all know movies you like )
  • various kinds of different educational stuff

I could continue the list but I guess I made my point
