Tattooing!!!

I don't know about anyone else out the in the EU ether, but with all the make up, body sculpting, hairdressing etc. which takes place in the EU it seems to me that one thing is missing..... Tattooing!

As someone who has constantly expanding tattoos in the real world, that would be a profession I would be seriously interested in for my avatar.

I see it working very similar to the other beauty profesions, requiring a tattoo gun, a tattooist chair and various coloured inks. Or even, to fit with the futuristic feel maybe a tattooing computer where u imput the design and it does it for you, or something along those lines.

What does everyone else think?

Yep thats been sudjested before.

But It would be a fantastic addon to EU. Especially the way you have sudjested. A good tattoo artist could make a fair bit of ped in EU!

I can't see why they wouldn't add this when CE2 comes online. The make up addition has been received very well in EU since conception, so it's only natural to have this as a profession. MA has gone to a fair amount of lengths to make EU origial, including its avatars.... Thats why it's nice that there is no two avatars alike!! This would strengthen that stance, and add a new carateristic that would only compliment the "game" play as it is now!

I think it's a good idea .. but don't know if I want them to implement tattoos - seeing as how they did with Makeup.
An (L) mask that decays 10 pec when you put it on / take it off - and it can't be used less than 90% tt ?

Not sure wtf they were thinking.

Both good points, and i'm not at all suprised that this has been suggested before. It would add that extra little unique characteristic to your avatar.

With what you mentioned about the makeup masks Danielle, that thought had crossed my mind and hopefully rather than going with seperate body parts they might just have different size tattoo stencils say small, medium and large which you could create your artwork on and could be used on any part of the avatars body they would fit.

Also definetly get rid of the whole 90% minimimum thing too.

As i go around with pretty much no clothes on anyway, tattooing would really appeal to me to add that individuality i'm looking for.

Well makup and tattoing is exactly same.
MA did say the makup is a test , if the system work good , they will do more things that way.
Now , that makup work (even if som boring bug are here) make it work on rest of body is not so hard.
All the big hard job is done , they just need expend it , and i am sure they will do it in time if the makup is used by player.

I'd say that this will make even more sense when PC is supported. So whoever likes to have a tattoo can upload a sketch and somebody will tattoo that on whichever body part.

I mean it probably won't make any sense to use a logic similar to the hairstyles. Unlocking tattoos just sounds a but weird...

Skills could influence the size, body part and numbers of colours to use in a tattoo though.
