Might live, might die. If its properly balanced I think it will continue to wobble along. Laws and restrictions just make things harder for everyone involved. Personally, I would much rather spend my time hunting then trying to figure out if its "legal" for me to buy the latest toy that caught my eye in auction. And as for lawyers, well, I guess I could live with those as long as they show up as red dots on my radar and loot reasonably well....

Then u should think about ppl who cant afford, let say, an ep40 ...
They are many. They "want" but they "cant". So they leave.
Not sure its realy in MA goals.

Ok, last post here and then Im outta your thread. You are completely entitled to your opinion and while I don't agree with it, I do appreciate your willingness to discuss things in a reasonable fashion.

Now, it seems that what your really talking about here is the plight of the poor, downtrodden non-depositor "ppl who cant afford, let's say, an ep40 ..." this is another thing entirely. Those who cannot or will not deposit in EU are literally living off of those who do. This is because we are the ones who are paying the bills. MA's bills. All the money that I dump into this game on a regular basis is then funneled through the various game mechanisms (the economy) and then payed out to Mindark who after paying the necessaries, returns it back into the game in the form of loot, etc... As for the poor lil guy who can't afford (Sob!) an EP-40, all he is doing is:
A. Enjoying a free virtual universe
B. Benifiting from the occasional global or hof
C. Getting very good at sweating
So, I would say to that poor lil guy, if ya really want an EP-40, maybe you should either save some of that sweat, or consider making a modest deposit to fund your amusement.
Now if thats just totally out of the question, then maybe lil guy might want to consider another form of entertainment. Yeah, I realize this means we lose a player. I'm pretty certain it will all work out tho.

Ah? Did you even think about what you are saying before you posted this?
Stupidest idea I've heard all day.

RCE- the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Don't like it? Tuff, that's the way it is.

You, MA, nor I have any right to tell someone how much ped, items, or investments they can have in game. If you got the money you can have any damn thing you want and as many of them, period.

This thought of yours seems to me to be nothing more then jealousy of other players, get over it.

If your not jealous, then you want our every move controlled with the lame excuss of players leaving because they can't have what others have? They could if they spent the money like others did (RCE- remember) the numbers in the bottom of your hud are not "credits", it's cash.

Now this satement from you,

Sigh, RCE game, duh! shit cost money. You'll have to find another game if you want stuff without paying for it.

And the part in bold. I'm sure MA cares about all their accounts, but lets face it. I really doubt they are worried sick about losing a player because they can't afford a 20 dollar gun.
I can click away 20 bucks in a crafting machine in a few seconds, you think they are the least bit concerned with me? That's peanuts in this game.

MA needs and wants accounts that pay to play, they have no use for free loaders. If players "want" but they "can't" as you say, that's not MA's problem, we ultimately influence the market because it is a free market.

I could go on, but what's the point. The idea is laughable at best.

Don't get all defensive, just don't agree with your vision here.

I, speaking only for myself, don't want any more rules, restrictions or even worse, lawyers in a place which I go to to forget about fucking parking tickets, yearly tax forms and other irritating stuff that is impossible to avoid irl(listed is top of the iceberg). When I come in EU i think a bit of wild west, the world where anything can happend, the colonisatition where u can win if you're first to figure something out o just lucky, or lose if u invest into wrong things. It's just more exciting this way to me. I understand your point of view, and like BJ said also appreciate you sharing it, yet I trully believe that if what you're asking for will be implemented, EU will lose it's charm to me.

peace,
AMG

Ur feeling about the game, ur wild wild west sensation, thats what think a LOT of dudes before joining and mabe the first two weak.
After that, they are quikly drived in our economic boring and repetitive jungle. The WWW tend to die.
Joining for socializing ?? were ? u have tones of better ways to socialize.
Most of EU players are focalized. thats a constat. I tend to say that mostly Womens have a strong social fiber in EU.

To illustrate even more my idea: Most of shoping booths are owned but not claimed
That mean MA will not reintroduce anymore booths ingame since only a little % are exploited. Thats a brake. I vote for rules against that.
Those farmers dont think about community they think only about profit (who can even dont realy profit).
Now, lets imagine those booths was on market and there were a competition in auction (regulated like for exemple only one estate per day and per player). That can attract even more players cause booths are around 5k 8k and it more afordable than a shop, for little investor (depositers or hofers). Then MA will reput ingame more booth and that let the chance for every body to INVEST and stay ingame with a bit of fun and attractive occupations.
