Normalize Trooper sounds

While moving to CE2 don't forget to normalize Trooper sounds to same level as other mobs.
Kthxbye.

Yes please! The perceived volume is way too high to my taste.

This pops up couple times a year.

What would it take? 10 minutes to fix this?

Sorry to be an audio geek, but 'normalising' is not what we need here. Normalising means increasing the amplitude of a wave file so that it hits 0db at its highest peak, which would make the sound louder.

What we need is a simple volume reduction, balancing the levels more correctly.

I've never hunted Troopers much so I never noticed this problem, but I couldn't help but stick my audio-guy oar in

Audio normalization is the process of increasing (or decreasing) the amplitude of an audio signal.

They are normal as they are, whats normal for a drone dosent have to be normal for a trooper.

Bigger robots got room for a much bigger sound system, hence the enhanced sound experience

you must be one of the group that insists that tv commercials aren't actually louder than the tv shows, and then follows this statement up w/a bunch of technical reasons why, all the while completely forgetting that no matter how technically right they are, the commercials ARE louder

Agreed, Troopers are far too loud in comparison to all other sound on Calypso.

the audio track in TV commercials is compressed so much to allow the rest of the track be increased in volume without clipping, hopefully to attract the attention of the movie viewer making their cup of tea. It's pretty bad for your ear drums, and causes hearing fatigue a lot quicker.

On topic - I've never heard a trooper
