Question: No more VU's before Cryengine?

So i was thinking to myself first. I wonder if MA is going to have no more VU's until cryengine cause well it kinda makes sense. Second i thought You know i'd rather them take a couple months off and just get cryengine in then make improvments/additions to EU . I wonder doing any development now for the current engine is kind of wasting time instn' it. you just have to re-work it again to make sure it works with the new engine.

So my Question to the Community is Would you rather just wait for them to get Cryengine in before more VU's? or Do you need new things now?

it seems a long time to go without any up dates, but then i suppose the devs are very busy. It is good have a stable game for so long and i dont need any changes. but what does concern me is any gameplay/balancing changes that mght be rolled up for the cryengine release, might be too much at once. Id rather they push them out now and keep the cryengine release focused on just the engine.

Well doesn't like everyone whine after like every VU? (Loot sucks, MA screwing us again, fucking Foot Guards, Mobs getting tougher, another skill nerf) so why do you want a VU anyways

implementing cryEngine is basically building the whole game from scratch and connecting it to the existing database.

the only possible thing that could be done in a VU prior to cryEngine is implement some feature that would make it easier for the development team to switch over to the new engine.

So I'm not expecting anything new or exciting before the big switch.

I would rather wait. - And I'll patiently wait as long as it takes to get it right first time.

As Marco said before, apx 80 or 90% of the staff is working on cry eng, so no more vu's till then...

At this point, I think a great many of us are just hanging out waiting to see what comes of the CryEngine release. I really don't think any of us care one way or the other if they have another release before it comes out, but there's a lot riding on the CryEngine VU. If it turns out to be all fluff and no substance, I suspect that there will be a lot of disappointed people.

I think they should roll out Cryengine2 before any new VU's, as so much time and effort is being devoted to it.

There may be a VU before CE2, but why bother - EU has been running pretty stably for past few months - and thats the main thing for me.

I hope it can run as well as the Gamebryo engine does on my aging Radeon 9800 Pro though and not require me to buy a whole new pc.
