Ok well not really but in this thread you are. You are the game director of YOUR version of Entropia Universe.:

You control every facet of EU from how many planets will be added to exactly what shade of green is snablesnot snot going to be when the New Cryengine VU goes live.

So tell us your ideas. What would you add? what would you throw away?

Would you use ideas that are successful in other games? (If so please don't mention the game's name just the game function you would like to use.)

Remember MA is always looking for ways to please customers that are cost effective and allows them to continue to make a profit.

Who knows, you could hit on that one awesome idea that MA has been looking for.

I would do two things immediately. I would add a function that allows the chat window system to be totally customizable.

Chat window size
Number of chat windows
Customizable chat channels
Text: font color size etc.
Chat window background transparency
Chat windows position (anywhere the player wants like the action button system)
Chat window quick linking (like life bars can link together and be moved as groups)
A dedicated Hotbar for chat window setup that allows different chat configuration to be called up by the click of the hotbar (You could have one chat setup for group hunting, one for non hunting etc.)

The other function I would add is ingame search terminals for all Ingame stores. These terminals would be located in all the major cities and have search functions to lookup items by:

Item Name
Item Type
Item Price
Location
Store Name (Avatar Name)

I think both of these functions could be added into the Cryengine VU and I think they would have an immediate impact on players, helping them to organize their interface and streamline the hunt for needed items and crafting materials.

Oh yeah hunting with pets!

I say WOW! That is a really good Idea!

(I have had a lot of fun in a certain other game Hunting with my faitful pet "SpiderPig" and shooting from afar with my bow! I could dig doing that in EU! Big Time!)

a loot gun, so I can see the current loot in the mobs i shoot at, if thats too little, a loot gun v2 where I can shoot loot into the mobs (taken from the lootpool, not my ped account!)

... and oh! the snables should sneeze lightblue ..something.
