Skills listed on EU website?

I have not done a poll in a while so...

This is an issue that has been brought up over and over, and I thought it would be time to pitch it to MA again. I will also send another support ticket as well.

I would like to see my skills listed on the EU website, just as "my items" are listed. This would make it much easier for everyone and would remove the need for people to develop 3d party applications to capture the skills from the in-game panel.

I appreciate and respect the amount of work that various members of the community invest making helper applications for EU, but I refuse to install anything other than officially approved applications for EU on my pc.

I am in no way saying that any of the people creating these great apps are less than trustworthy. I am just a bit paranoid.

It can't be so difficult to implement, if they can do it with items...

I would like a rank of top 100 players ingame...

The rank should be just like socterminal is, based on skills. but it should be optional if you wanted to show skills or not.

Hey, that would be great for MA

An even longer list would be better though...

It would make people WANT to skill more

"Oh my god I'm number 984 in skills in the game! I need to skill more so that I will pass my friend that is number 932!"

Yes i did a search and found this thread from November of last year. I think it is valid to revive the discussion, this time with a poll and remind MA that there are many who would like to see this implemented.

I bought one for kalanen...see this thread... so sure.

I agree that this should not be a high priority, but should be considered at some point.

yeah, it would be great to have it. i have asked for it, in support cases, in Q&A sessions directly to Marco, etc...

MA has always rejected the suggestion; they say that it implies extra stress to the avatar database, but this reason seems to me... hmmm, rather "questionable"

they also said that they might consider looking into it, in the future, _IF_ they ever think it is a good idea to have this info available via web.

100% agreed and understood.

i made the skill scanner (and the chipping optimizer) because it was something i wanted for my own use; the original version of the chipping optimizer was a standalone java application too; then i decided to share it for people that might be interested and find it useful, and i made a web version of the chipping optimizer; unfortunately, it is not possible to do the same for the skill scanner.

but i cannot blame anyone for not wanting to install 3rd party SW. in computer security, it's generally a good practice to be paranoid.
