The idea of an item that will enhance an avatars ability to remain non-depositing would be financial suicide for the game if implemented.

And I ask YOU: Do you buy a game, where the DEMO version is shit and bores you to death?

My opinion is and will always be: Todays N00bs are the tomorrows depositers / ubers. So do EVERYTHING to keep them ingame! We all profit from that at the end!

Go on and treat them the way it is now and EU will continue bleeding out slowly and painfully as it already does. N00bs are leaving, big players are leaving, what will be left at the end? Right, nothing. Simple as that.

Edit: Tho a sweat amp is the wrong way. It would be like a devils spiral... You would need it to continue getting good sweat and without you gain even less money as the price will prolly drop. The few lucky n00bs with it will be happy, the rest will be mad I guess.

i have a different opinion

most sweaters cant or wouldnt depo so they sweat a bit then hunt/mine that away and when the peds are gone they quit

very low % will depo and start hunting more seriously

i really dont think that if the whole sweating thing should be removed it will much effect on the depoing playerbase

Thats how it is right now because theres not much to cheer them up actualy. The fun part is missing if your a beginner these days. Sweating for hours to hunt for minutes doesn't motivate them enough to continue the game.

When I was n00b the sweat price was 1.0 and raised to 4.0 and higher. I could actualy PLAY the game and liked it so much, that I stood and started to deposit as well.
I'm mentoring every now and then and all my disciples tell me about the same stuff about getting bored why they usualy quit before they reach the first 5%.

You know, I was all ready to hate this idea, but actually, maybe its not terrible. At least the people sweating with 'amps' wouldn't totally be getting something for nothing.

It's a double edged sword though, you are (I assume) trying to do something to benefit the sweaters, but this would probably just drive the price down even further.

Rather than an Amplifier, and far, far more useful: A Sweat Sensor.
When installed, changes the radar blip of a creature just slightly - creatures no longer capable of being sweated appear as hollow red squares (dry), instead of solid red squares (not dry).

That's it. But oh, how USEFUL!
