IDEA 4 Memorial Island

I have been thinking alot about the theft that goes on at Memorial Island and came up with something(I think). What i propose is MA place a special kind of storage container there that any player could access to leave offerings, all of these things could accumulate over a period of time say 1 year at which time an MA official could colllect it all and transfer the items to ped and then dollar value and finally withdraw then cash and make a donation to a charity in WE the players name!! In many of the threads about people pilfering Memorial Island players have stated that Tina was giving and generous also when we go to leave offerings we also are giving. I think this would be great for the community as a whole and also help people that really need it.

So come on people we are the Universe with a real cash economy, lets show the world

At times I will go there and drop an oil or pecs, maybe a little ammo.

Most of the time there is one particular ava who goes there to collect what is dropped. I doubt that ava is too short of ped judging by the items they always have on auction. Anything not nailed down will get picked up by that ava. If I drop items there hopefully someone in more need than R**** ******** ***** gets them.

Most of my in-game charity will be dropping items by new players. IRL I tend to give to local a charity or cause I am familiar with. Not that a donation box would be bad but I prefer to choose a bit more directly. Mostly a person needs to not be too attached to what you drop at memorial isle (or anywhere ).

I completely agree, I left stuff there recently for that little baby that died oh too soon. And not even 10 mins later I came back to leave something else and everything that was there was gone! It's like leaving something in a cemetary and then someone else comes along and takes it. It's sooo stupid and incosiderate of people to do something like that. Well anyway, I left something else dispite what just happened and then I returned to check on it to see if it was still there and about 30 mins later or so that was gone as well!
