CryEngine at 800X 600?

So I downloaded the Crysis Demo and I seem to be able to run the demo at low settings at 800X600 not to bad. Entropia has NEVER run at that low resolution and i'm not sure they will. But i wonder how many people would make use of that setting or would need that setting like me to run it.

800x600 would be unplable in eu IE auction is bigger! you'd have trouble seeing mobs with just your loot window and map open lol I'd not hold your breath for that change

The reason EU runs at a min of 1024 x 768 is simply because of all the screen furniture (i.e. bottom bar, buttons etc.). Any smaller and it would be unplayable.

800 x 600 ... hmmm, just because you can doesn't mean you should.

You're mixing up something.

As we have CryEngine coming up I doubt that we see lots of those interface windows as we know them today. I assume that CryEngine has some built-in support for dialog templates or something. I mean the view demos I saw didn't have dialog windows that looked even close to EU's current dialog windows.

I haven't played Crysis but I assume that the Crytek-folks have resizing things implemented. So 800x600 might be minimalistic but doable.

Who knows, we'll see anyway
