Server Down

The server went down tonight - for what reason I ask. It would really be nice if they are going to take the game offline that they would let us know. I know of no other online games that do not announce in advance if they are going to take the game down. There is no announcement of the estimated downtime or the reason. Come on now - in the name of customer relations at least let us know - and not 10 minutes before like tonight.

it's propably just bug fixes.
and the server will only be offline for a few minutes.
is that worth a whole announcement? most of the bugs we dont even know

just be patient :P
i went up early to go play EU and the server got offline just 15 mins after,,
so i know how you feel..

The point is if this is for bug fixes and they knew they were going to take it down they should let us know. No harm in taking 2 minutes and putting a note in the CL that they are going to take it down - it would go a long way in customer relations. 5 minutes or 4 hours it would be nice to know what is going on.

This is the first time I see a "server down"-thread in the Wishlist-section Well, there has to be a first time for everything I guess.

Anyways, just because you get disconnected doesn't mean the entire EU is down. Maybe your neighbour is online and you just have bad luck right now. Who knows? Not you, not me. And MA doesn't care about those occasional disconnects.

I could guess that MA has some checks running in the background to catch high number of disconnects within a very short time. If it's not noticable it won't be escalated and nobody had ever noticed.

Sad but true.
