Remove BO prices from Ingame Auction History

This is the only solution to the market manipulation.

If the Buy-Out price is not calculated in the Markup Graph, the average price wont go up by high BO sales and wont crash down by low order sales. Let the bidding decide the current markup because that is what people realy are willing to pay.

When the ingame markup graph did not existed yet we all used PE-Auction.
There the Buy-out is not logged as confirmed sale, and the prices where somewhat stable depending on offer and demand.

We dont have to know that someone dumped his Karma Killer for +600 because there was an order and he needed PED quick, if he is willing to get less for it why does everyone need to suffer the price drop.

The same goes for the high buy-outs. If someone is stupid or to impatience to pay the way overpriced BO for the item, why does it need to increase the price on all same items?

The Buy-out is pure for the impatient players who are willing to pay more or get less by selling or buying things emidiatly, but has nothing to do with the real sales through bid.

(even if the BO history would be removed completely from all recordings in the ingame markup graph it would take a few months/years to stabalize itself to normal level I guess)

I have nothing against the BO feature, that is realy good to use. But dont let it mess with the ingame markup value.

Remowe BO from auction history is fine with me but dont touch the BO function at auction.

If I want something real quick i buy from BO.
If I need money I check orders and match my BO for the goods.

Most of the sales on auction are done via BO, removing them from the average would not reflect the real prices either.

I would be happy if you could chose to see with/without BO average.
Otherwise it is better as it is now.

Why not? The most BO prices are higher than the average, it is possible to buy some things for BO at the current markup value. But if the average climbs the new BO's will rise also and it will not stop ever.

See you in 3 months where the Korss400 is 185% and the P5 is 175%

Because you base the average on a small percentage of sales which actually reached the end of the auction. Excluding most of the sales will make the average lower, but it wont reflect the price most people are actually buying and selling the item.

If Korss and P5a prices get too high, hunters will stop using them because of the reduced eco. Resellers can make a margin profit on them like they do on common ores, but they cant ask for whatever price they want and keep selling large amounts of it.

BTW most BO prices are not higher than average, its just that BO at market or below get sold very quickly.

I believe PeAuction does not take Bo's in the calculation.

The problem is with the BO sales, the seller decides the price it goes for, not the buyer. In real auctions the buyer always decides how much he is willing to pay.
The startbid is for the seller to set his minimum price he atleast wants.

I know (as I said in the OP) but nobody even checks that anymore.

Yes there are some times where I got confronted by it and it always goed like this:

I want to sell an item:
I ask mininmum ingame markup price, buyer comes: That high? check PE-auction.

I want to buy an item:
I go to the seller, (who asks more) I say thats a bit high priced. He says check ingame markup.

And he referres to the latest highest sale not even the average for the day/week.

Having 2 sources to check the price is bad.

On this we disagree, IMO the more information you have the better decisions you can make.

It seems to me you want to limit the data available, in order to stop others from acting in a way which you believe to be irrational (i.e. Paying too much for items).
So I ask you:
Before they introduced the market prices ingame, did resellers not make profits from buying cheap and selling higher on auction? Were people not willing to pay 5%-10% higher on BO than peauction prices even when they were the best reference?
