There is an ignore function for trade and for PM.
The PM ignore function was add by MA after long whining from player , still , the function exist now.

There is 3 icon on the top of an PM window , close, reduce,ignore.
The ignore button ask for an confirmation , and you wont get any pm for that person until you relog.(the relog reset to zero was asked by player too , because sometime in first age , som people ignored friend on mistake or for test purpose).

The ignore for trade exist since very very long time , but i dont remember it ever worked.i remember like 2 year ago MA in som VU after the new trade system(the on used now) say they fixed it , it still not working.

Definately voting yes, and i think our current system is archaic as hell as some keep mentioning existing features. We are about to get cryeng2, i think asking for a ignore list (permanent) isn't asking too much in the way of tech lol. Do u really want to have to ignore the same person over and over and over (and more than once per session if he decides to get off by doing both chat and trade requests) AND still b forced to c his text in local or have to turn it off? This is funny imo, this is 2008 ffs, what ppl are asking for is already commonplace everywhere else.

Like i stated in another thread, i really would like to put players whos writing constantly their "super-smartass" comments/replys in mainchat (certain player at Neas Place anoyed me to death, despite the fact that his comments are aimed at someone else) to ignore, without disabling whole channel. I guess same goes for peeps who are flooding the trade messages into mainchat instead of trade channel, even if asked.

I need an 'ignore' feature that just wipes the avvy out completely in truth

I had an absolute idiot stood by me the other day.

I couldnt go because I had to team people up for wof.

I had around 6 pm's on the go, and people asking questions in team chat.

And all this idiot could do with their time, was repeatedly hit the giggle emote.

It was quite distracting and sad people have nothing better to do, but sit at their computer and achieve so little

Turning off the volume is an option, but why should I be forced to?

would be useful, i suppose (a permanent one), although there isn't one in RL and i seem to do ok ... if you can't ignore text in a game, i imagine you're in for one hell of a life trying to ignore anything irl
