I'd like to see the graphics quality of this "Virtual Universe" raised to the level of some of the current MMORPGs out there. I've been looking at some other games, and the graphics are stunning.

And here is a quote from one that I thought had an awesome idea.

I think eventually that would be great. Not sure if MA is "big" enough to do that just yet. Unlike Sony and the other mmorpg's makers, MA is quite small (both monetarily and in employees).

Certainly, however I do believe that MA takes into account what the community discusses on the forums. That is not to say that MA does everything according to what the community wants. But there have been numerous things with almost each vu that seem to be directly drawn from community suggestions. That said, ya it would be rather neat if MA could handle players submitting 3-D models, etc for review.

I heard that PE runs on the morrowind engine.

i belive this is true, cos it uses alot of memory and the crashes also used to happen in morrowind when your memory was to full. the creators of the engine sayd that there is nothing they could do about it.

BACK ON TOPIC:

They could maby upgrade to the new engine thats gonna be use for Oblivion (new elders scroll game).

The idea Azrael have there is kinda like the whole concept behind STEAM (if u play half-life, u would know it)

The idea of that rox. MA would then have moddelers/programmers they dont really have to pay. It would be players that wanna create something for the game they love. (maby not programmers)

In the same idea of player created content, i have been thinking for a while of the possibility to be able to have a scripting language in PE. That could for example allow ingame society websites/forums, new player-created commercial services,...
Concerning a new game engine and graphics quality, i think lots of people (like me) can't play PE yet with full detail and without lag, so i don't think it will be done before 1-2 years. But if it was done, i hope they would in the same time port the game for the next gen consoles. Or keep the actual engine, and even port it to the actual consoles!
