coloring: all colors to preview!

I guess many of you know the problem: You want to color some pants, shirts or whatever in a color you can't apply on your own. You can only GUESS, how those colors will work together. Especialy on expensive colors it can be very annoying, if you see that your imaginations don't match the result at all.

So my wish is, that everyone is able to drag all paints into the coloring tool, to see how the result will look like. Once he tries to press the "apply color" button the tool should say if he got the skills or not.

I had this problem several times now already, luckyly on cheap colors only though.

I don't think it would hurt to at least let us see the colors. Good point, and +rep.

if i recall correctly, etopia mention that he was working on something to show what colours look like on different clothes, don't hold you breath though, that takes alot of work to do and i'm sure he's still working on it little by little

This would be a nice move, but after all it's MA's job to do so such things imo.

Yes I would love this option being a colourer though that is currently on hold for the moment.

Often my clients like to know how something will look. I am usually more than willing to take screenshots with different colour combinations, edit them and then email them for viewing and selection but this would sure save me a lot of time and mean I could lose more ped hunting

And anyway: I guess it's not too tough to realize ingame. Just rewriting the skill-check-procedure a little and move it from the paint-insert-event to the onbutton-event.

So pleeeease MA! Such a little change for so much comfort!

This project was already thought through by entopia, sarah and myself.

There is a solution. I could not realise it because:

What do I need for it?
A good flash programmer.

If there is anyone out there who wishes to help me create that tool, message me.

Actually I started working on an external program, that lets you see all colors on all clothes. So if MA won't change it ingame, it has to work on other ways...
