and isnt that kinda like the point? to keep people in Hades?

Of course, TP runs will be a lot more challenging from Hades. Trox and mourners to the north, Argos to the south, foul and armax to the west, and a whole host of critters to the east.

Which also makes them more fun. Try a boring tp run where you just run through a bunch of exas on your way to billy's and then try to help a noob get to nea's for example. They always do stupid stuff and get killed before the right LA. But it's a lot more fun.

Absolutely!! I could see a whole new class of TP guides showing up at Hades.
In fact there could be contests to see how many n00bs you can single-handedly guide from Hades to Atlas, and get there without losing any.

That would be an awesome event. Just imagine 20 people each with 10-15 noobs in oj running out of hades hoping to make it to atlas alive.

My own thoughts on the matter.

Thanks for sharing,
and personally I think TP runs from Hades would be challenging but yet a bit harsh.

Maybe someone else posted somethings similar but here is my idea.
To be honest it is nothing new, I heard about it when I first arrived on Calypso about 3.5 years ago and since I like the idea alot here it is:

There should be facilitys, where beginners (or other people) could work for a little loan. It shouldn't be alot, so that it wouldn't pay off for ubbers to take those jobs. Lets say 1 Ped every full hour of working.

What will be produced?
Didn't you guys never wonder, where the items from the TT come from? Where are the facilitys, where Omegaton or the Castorian Corp produce those items? Who crafts the ammo?

What would be the sense in working in a facility?
Actualy, many beginners are gaining their first skills by sweating and sweating only. Working in such a facility could be a great thing after hours of boring sweating and they could gain a few lvls in engineering maybe!

Could that interfer with MA's politics?
Not at all! After all it should be pretty unimportant to MA, if the beginners earn by selling free sweat or gaining free money by doing some clicks in a facility (however this work will look like).

Are there positive side effects for MA maybe?
Yes.
First of all, beginners will prolly stay for longer than a week only, because those facilitys make a sure money income and give some kind of diversity in a beginners life, since there are two ways to gain free money now.
Second effect would be, that less people sweat, which causes the ME price to grow and the ppl who want to use MF have to pay (deposit) more. Ofcourse the wages shouldn't be that high, that EVERY beginner stops sweating and the ME market dies out!! That's why I suggest 1 ped per hour.

Would could be the jobs in such a facility?
There could be pretty many jobs to do.

1.) people, who stand at the machines to assemble the tools / weapons
2.) people, who carry the produced items to some kind of packing station
3.a) people, who run between the TTs to refill em with items (especialy ammo)
3.b) people, who put the ready packet items into some kind of ditribution machine, which refills the TTs automaticaly
(If anyone has more ideas post em please.)

In my opinion this would be such a great (UNIQUE!) feature, that could help beginners to decide positivly to stay and play longer because it just gives them some kind of changes in their young days.

Marksmanship Ranged Damage Assessment

We would need a city map of this beautiful city.

I could make a link to the maps i made myself.

But there is a better one.

From Jaxmap.
