Updates in Entropia

During the time I've been playing Entropia, I've played many other games as well, and it seems that Entropia seems to be put on hold for months.

One game gets an update at least once a week, but on Entropia it takes ages.

An example of this is, if you go into a bar, the bartender will tell you they are expecting a shipment soon (guess they got scammed ).

I don't expect Entropia to be updated with new land or anything like that every week or anything, but just little things like being able to buy a drink would be nice, or maybe even put something inside some of the buildings, most of them are useless.

I would like to also see more information about items, such as what they can be used for, this would certainly help newbies when starting a new skill.

Anybody else feel the same way about this?

I like it as it is. When an update comes, there's usually a lot in it so it's fun to explore and discover new things, which makes a new VU exciting and hotly anticipated.

They used to do more regular updates but they were always full of bugs, that situation has improved now that we have longer periods between VUs.

Who wants to drink..? LOL I'm pretty satisfied as long as I don't have to eat or drink in this game. You can't imagine even for a second it would be for free..?
When it comes to mini updates and fix (that there already are), all I wish is that there would be a list of what was implemented or fixed on the EU login page.

Yeah would be nice to see more improvements of the game.

ATM there is surely a lot of work for MA stuff, learning how to handle the CryEngine, that will come and with the designs of banks.
I believe that there are a lot more small projects MA is working on, so I understand that small things don´t have much priority untill this big things are working and implemented.

Anyway would like to see more updates with only small improvments.

I don't want to drink and I think it's much more fun to discover things by myself.
Where do you think the economy will go if each Noob or everyone know all what it need to succeed in the first 2 hours?
Hey, , Entropia is a RCE.

I don't want a easy game with all Infos already given.
Easy games make the fun end very fast.
All easy games don't last more than 2 months in my computer.

That's why I'm Entropian since 3 years now.

i don't want PE to have a constant downtime - it means less play time for me. i much prefer the way it is. few and far between updates, that don't even take that long. weekly bug fixes would sure clock a lot of unplayable hours.

When I suggested drinks, I didn't mean you HAVE to drink, for parties and stuff I think it would be nice, and anyway, if there are bars shouldn't there be drinks? Also it wouldn't be constant downtime, it might take about a min to install in the config and thats it. The download wouldn't be big, maybe a few megs (at the most). Thats what I think anyway.

I would like to be able to explore all/most of the buildings in Entropia as well, after all, if the are there, why not use them.



Oh and btw, unless you're some sad addicted player who eats, sleeps and does other things sitting infront of the computer, I don't think you would lose much time playing (maybe a few mins).

A bit off topic, but if there are drinks available and you do drink, I think it should affect what you do after just like real alcohol ;-)

I would rather the ongoing problems get fixed... thats it. I dont care how they do it but it should be done. Refiner bug is just silly IMO that is it not fixed... sky bug too... the list is long

Yeh small updates would be nice... such things like Refiner Sticking is ANNOYING to say the least... these little bugs should be seen to immediately... I haven't had the refiner sticking thing in a few weeks so maybe its fixed...

Either way, mini updates are good
