Would You Like To Switch Servers?

Think MA should add the option to switch servers when your connection is lost, something like....

"Your Connection To The Entropian Universe Has Been Lost. Would You Like To Try And Reconect To Another Server?"

This would fix ppl haveing to wait for ppl to clear out of a spot so they can reconnect. You might find a TP you didnt have but thats a lot cooler than haveing to wait hours to play agian.

they do that in some situations. i remember right after the new vu 9.0 I was in TIC and kept getting kicked off. When i tried to log back in it asked me if I wanted to go to a different server. So I did. Got 2 new TP's that way!

Yeah, if the servers down it will offer you that. My connection sucks and I TPed to close to the swamp camp. Also if I die close to PA, TP, or the swamp camp Im screwed till ppl clear out.

I finaly made it out of the swamp camp it only took 8 hours. If they had this idea in place not only would it had not taken 8 hours or a support letter...they would had been making ped from me, so really its a ped maker

Dunno if I'm understanding this in total. When you log in to EU it depends which server your client can't connect to. If it can connect to the "first" one which holds authority checking and the list of available "other re-log spots" you get that message box offering to relocate to some other server. That's already there.

But, still reading your post, if the disconnection happens while being in-game it would be more than cool if a message box appears saying something like "Connection to your current server was lost. Do you want to relocate to another server or quit the game and try to log in again in a minute?" You'd definitely have my vote on that one

On the other hand I didn't quite get the part with the clearing out...

I play on .....Dail up lol. I know I know, I have had ppl say "I didnt even know that was possable!"

Every time I get around a bunch of green dots I crash. So no PA, swamp camp, TP, over crowded service centers and definatly NO events

if I get to close the place is like a black hole and I get stuck. The connection cant handle the amount of info needed to render stuff, so I get bumped till stuff calms down in the area ppl wise.

I get past the autheriztion screen fine but i seems like it bumps me cause of connection speed :P
