This rule already exist when there was ped in loot and was removed when oil came in loot (don't remember the VU)

For those who don't know this old system, there were 2 choice to make in the team loot repartition:

items:
- random
- most dmg take all
- leader take all
- 1st object to 1 guy, 2nd to the 2nd guy and etc...

money:
- equal
- dmg determine

When hunting with a trusted soc mate, we will always set money to "equal" and for me it was the best option!
And i never understand why MA remove it as it work exactly the same with oil stack ...
but hey ... EU is dynamic

it would be needed even then for whenever you get items that can't be split evenly like a mod fap or (L)

That is the major problem with any automated split regardless of dmg or equal ...you can't split one item( insert any tool/weapon chip here ) so you might as well hunt as individuals.

Can't remember that even , i was so used to hunt with people I trust i never even tought of choosing anything else but leader takes all lol , and thus don't even know what the other options were at the time.


To andyzammy :

Yea you are right items can't be just slashed in 2 or more pieces .
But they could let the item drop for the amount of players in team hihi , imagine 12 imp faps from a molisk in a team of 12 (not realistic I know , just giving myself a boost of hope , .... , or is it called despair considering EU???.....)

I voted No.. Equal stack share or leader takes all are most of the time abused by weaker players that either refrain from spending ammo or stay hours at the revival while the others shoot... Moreover, there was the pvp exploit and other, like jdegre mentioned.
If you want loot, don't die, and keep shooting.
In my soc's teams, it's by damage and items other than oils, paints, etc, are splitted among all. This minimizes any abuses, and everyone thinks it fair.

ofc that is the guard against exploiters, but another is to not hunt with them anyways (or kick em). i plan on using these team options with people who i trust (and who i hope will in turn trust me). trust me, i want it back so we can all shoot and loot, i don't want to screw people out of peds

With people I trust, its easy to go with Looter takes all, and every time the same teammember loots.
At the end he gives every teammember his share of the loot, its nearly the same as Leader Takes All, but it canīt be abused in lootable PvP.

well Art sent loot from CND to Calypso!!!

When Muffy was selling tickets for me I had her keep a team which had leader take all set going while I hunted on CND. All the loot ( what little I got up there ) went right down to Muffy on Calypso.

It was an experiment and I had to kill a bunch of easy stuff in dome 3 before I got a couple animal oils or such.

My guess is that is is too hard for ma to narrow the geography of this option and so they got rid of it.

A better idea would be for the team to be ordered by order of member addition and for the loot to go to the highest order member CLOSEST to the loot!


I will put in a wishlist for this an an example support case !

with the hunting tactic i use, when i see the mob's hp going down to the point either its only gona take me one shot to kill it, or my team mate(s) are gona kill it before i can get another shot off, i right-click, so as not to waste any ammo, and it decides itself weather to shoot, or to auto-loot if the creature is dead. to gain that convenience, i must sacrifice this one i currently have.

as long as the pvp exploit is fixed/worked around, leader takes all is a completely acceptable team option.

wow! i hope you sent a support case to MA about that. we don't want another Noggin thing. i wouldn't have thought cross-continent interaction was possible after noggin stumbled upon an exploit.
