where are the promised footguards?

Seriously though, I haven't seen a single footguard since VU 9.1, though I haven't looked very hard.

Ok no -reps needed. I think you just missed a very major part of the economy. Exactly where do we go to loot our Ghost footsies. Oh yes we can't their crafted. And does anyone have the BP. Nup. And probably the same for all the other crafted armours.

Foot Guards were done in a very poor fashion for anyone with any set of armor, which is essentially all the paying customers and even those that don't. A better way for all would have been to simply have anyone with shin guards now have a set of feet that match with 0 TT. While MA wouldn't have seen a mass rush to loot some sets, they would have seen less people take off in disgust.....

Ok, i guess i am narrowminded then for considering more than one option, thats funny though i thought narrowminded was the opposite of that.... (a search on my previous posts might be a good idea if you want to know my idea about the whole footguards thingy btw, trust me im not even close to being positive about it).

On a side note the crafted footguards have indeed been in sillylow supply it seems, i wouldnt know, i dont use crafted armor, nor do i craft armor. Is it only due to no bps dropping or is it because they take rare materials?

Narrowminded in the way that you can't see the game from our perspective. As I am a miner, killing mostly for defence and some occasional mid level mob hunts - I really dont see how could have i continued my playing and then get my ghost feet.

Ok well.. to make it all clearer for me and others like me. (Optima and/or Avery pls reply )
You have:
Ghost + 5a
delta + beast
ek2600
~500 peds for ammo.
No friends with ml-35 or equal.

How should have i got my feet (any feet almost equal to ghost would do)

1) Looting 300 pixie feet and selling them 1 ped/feet is not an option.

OMFG!! What an einstein! I feel so stupid that i didnt loot the supremacy footguards from aurli now

TT your PoE footguards and try to loot them again from the lootpool then if its so easy to find "your" footguard, they should prolly loot from globsters i promise you

what a FWCKING great idea!! To all hunters: Just go out and hunt "your" mob then you will find your footguards!

Did you even read what he wrote? He is saying its foolish to try and hunt for a specific item. Just hunt the mobs you do well on.. make some ped.. and buy the footguards you need.

You could buy Zombie (L) for like 110% until price of ghost comes down.
Rascal foot guards were cheap before this vu and the resellers.
Even better, Gremlin foot guards were like +40-50.
You could also buy some lower level foot guard and a 5b plate.
With your gear you should have been able to afford any of those options.

Easy to answer: if you didnt loot the other armorparts youre wearing then how did you get them?... you bought it, if you bought it you got the money from somewhere else, either mining since thats what you do or deposit to get them. Kinda proves my point really since im pretty sure you didnt loot all the armorparts you usually wear... Remember a post about someone complaining that the bear feet dropped from SEG, so did the harness and gloves earlier so i dont really see the difference in looting there either... (again has nothing to do with the whole footguard "thing", only attacking flawed logic here)

Again... i was suggesting an alternative, not saying MA did this in a good way.
Again... i use an (L) fap, a good gun and medium armor (sold off all my "uber gear" a year ago, so trust me ive had to adapt as well), not suggesting all can just go hunt falx alone, im suggesting that IF you wanted an alternative WHILE complaining since i sure as hell dont like this either, then theres another way to get there...

And btw delta+amp, ghost+5b in a 5 person team easily kills falx and other bigger mobs. Yes you will die, so do i if i solo them with current gear, then you tp back, have some laughs about it and kill some more?

Im fine with you thinking i cant see it from your side, that doesnt make me narrowminded, that makes you narrowminded for thinking i dont know wth your talking about

And again... to make it very very clear and like ive wrote in the first 10 different posts on EF about the implementation about footguards:
1: Especially people with highend armor were screwed since drops seem incredibly rare and are therefor (uberarmor + rare=toxic cocktail) too expensive considering MA said there "would be enough"
2: Nope this isnt "fair", but MA made the change they will hardly change it back, so maybe think about some alternatives since the promised "enough" footguards dont seem to be there?
3: The time we got to complete our armors were incredibly short, for this to be even close to fair they should have allowed 6months or similar to gather these which would have given time for the people trying to loot them, time for the people that wanted them to drop in price before buying etcetc.

And again again again: I dont like this more than you, but you accusing me of being narrowminded for suggesting (omg how many times did i write this now) that besides complaining , (that were all entitled to ofc), to try and make something atleast remotely positive out of a situation we cant control?

Ah well cant be arsed to answer this anymore now, seems what i write is incredibly hard to understand for some reason, guess i need some english lessons... last post in this thread, if anyone is still having problems with understanding wtf im saying please take it to a pm.
