 Run 4 of the WoF Pro Series is now complete! Winners so far have been: Run 1 : M2S Legends Run 2 : Sex on Ice Run 3 : WoF England 2009 Run 4 : TDO Run 4 featured an increased Prize Fund of 3100 Ped And here are the results : 1st Place - 1800 Peds WPS - TDO : 2412 2nd Place - 800 Peds WPS WoF England 2009 : 1189 3rd Place - 500 Peds WPS Maffoid Challenge : 1055 Dog Spot - Just outside the Money  WPS Consortium : 1026 Huge Congratulations to the TDO team First time out, First place, 1800 peds A Fine acheivement, against stiff competition Congratz also to England who lead for most of the way 800 Peds for a respectable Second Place Gratz to Maffoid Challenge too of course No shame in the Bronze, and 500 Peds I suspect we have not seen the last of the Consortium though Pipped into the Dog Spot by a mere 29 points (Too busy spending that 10k HoF, I'll wager...) I will be presenting ALL the prizes tonight if possible... Award Ceremony will be at Twin Peaks at 8pm MA Time All are welcome to attend  Look out for news of Run 5 of the WoF Pro Series From Midday tomorrow, Wednesday 13th August 2008 Free to Enter, Open to All 2500 Peds in Prizes Brand New MobList The WoF Pro Series is a World of Firepower style Team Hunt Monthly competition, Free to Enter, and Open to All. Teams can be any size 2 - 12, and the object is to global on each of the 5 mobs. The TT Value of each global becomes the score for that global. For a full summary of the Rules and Instruction see the WoF Pro Series (WPS) Thread. There are 2 changes to the rules as stated there: 1. A print of the map is No Longer required, just time and location. 2. All screenshots must now be posted within 48 hours of the Global. I'm gonna say that again, so there's no mistake: All screenshots MUST be posted with 48 hours of the Global for it to be valid. Please post all global screenshots in THIS thread. Team names in the format "WPS - {whatever}" please. The 48-hour Rule will ensure that the thread, and the competition, is kept alive and kicking from start to finish. It also gives every team the chance to see how the competition is doing and to improve on their own scores, for that IS allowed. In fact it is encouraged... Run 4 commences: 12:00 MA Time on Weds 16th July 2008 Run 4 Ceases: 12:00 MA Time on Tues 12th August 2008 That's Midday, til Midday. No confusion. And so, the Run 4 Mob-list looks like this: Atrax (Any Maturity) LA04 19600/9800 No specific maturity required. Anyone can global on a trax. Eventually... Phasm (Any Maturity) LA38 1630/3100 Again, any maturity will do, but a much tougher mob... Longu (Dominant) LA05 19800/11100 Doms Only score. Guardians, Alphas and OA will get in the way. Hogglo (Old) LA34 6900/17900 Olds only will score for this slot. Plenty about though... Hogglo (Higher than Old) LA34 6900/17900 Any Hogglo higher than Old, that's Guard/Prov and up. All arguements about Providers or Guardians being harder are therefore moot* The Prizes for the winning teams in Run 4 are as follows: 1st Place: 1800 Ped 2nd Place : 800 Ped 3rd Place : 500 Ped That's right, Team Hunting for CASH PRIZES! Prizes are slightly higher this month following last months Rollover See WoF Pro Series Run 3 for how that came about. Prize money, WoF Treasury Donation and Organiser Fee have all been donated by our Sponsor, NeverDie. So that's it, you know what to do, you know what to hunt, you know when to start, and when to stop. And I'm pretty sure you know how to KILL! GO TO IT! There will, I have no doubt, be questions. Feel free to post any and all queries, problems, questions, concerns and clarifications in this thread. WoF Pro Series Run 4 will commence in 1 Hour Rumour has it that the Hogglo in LA34 are leaving in droves, clutching small bags with a few essentials, and running into the sea, trembling with fear and Crying.. At least on this Run you won't have worry about whether the Hogglo Provider or Guardian "counts" or not... They're all good  And you're right. Hogglo Providers kick much butt. I dream of a day when I can solo them, but for now there's always Team Hunts, and I love a team hunt |

Ok, so obviously this isn't an entry. As WoF Organisers Hurrikane and I are prohibited from Actually competing (although there's nothing to stop of team that includes some GloryHounds entering, they'll get no favours from me, they won't need em..)

Oh Bollox.
You're right you know.  I was inside the LA when I started shooting the little Phasm Fecker, but backed up as I shot, and may have just strayed across the line. Well, not may have, clearly did. ThanX Jimmy for your eagle eyes.  In fact we've managed to demonstrate 2 things thereby... 1. The mobs are killable, even by wee folk such as I. 2. Scoring Globals MUST be within the Land Areas listed. Right, where's me gun..? (of course, I would probably have allowed it, if it was one of you..) Last edited by Chopper; 07-21-2008 at 20:52. |

I wasn't sure, but figured that little i icon may have been a tell-tale sign of foul play.
 And yeah, its hard work, but they can be slayed solo in Ghost+5B with a battle! No problem in a team. The main difficulty is seeing the damn things, phasm indeed! |
