What if thsi happens? The only thing I can think of is to screenshot the END of the HOF lists when you take a screenie of your global message.

The scores are gained primarily from what appears in the chat window for all to see. With that in mind, the first global said Hall of Fame, and so it was. The 133 ped win later would be classed as a standard global, as it does not mention Hall of Fame status. The WoF doesn't need the added complications of working out the machinations/regeneration of MindArk's HoF list; I go with the simple and obvious. If it says HoF, it's a HoF.

Ok...so the 45K PED global is just going to be a global...got it.

LOL can you find any and all examples of 45k PED globals that did not get called HoF's to back up your paranoia that the most random events may happen and cause the Rules to be lacking?

Some other things I haven't prepared for:

Chirpy Mutated invasion.

Amethera sinking beneath the sea.

Elvis returning from the grave.....


You saw last year's WoF. You saw all complaints dealt with in a reasonable and satisfactory manner. You saw the best team win. If something happens such as what you've imagined, or anything else that causes people to doubt a decision or score, it will be investigated, voted on and dealt with fairly. If you are in any doubt about this, reconsider your participation, as there is no point continuing to assume the Rules will fail you. If you are prepared to play by the Rules you will enjoy the WoF, I will make sure of it.

There can't be a Rule for every circumstance possible; the Rules cover everything needed for the Tournament to take place. The Rule that covers everything else is this: My word is final, and it's given after a vote.



The Rule in this instance would be: Any Global that is called a HoF in the chat window and/or features in the in-game HoF table (with an appropriate time signature) is scored as a HoF. If someone loots an amount that is obviously over the amount required at that time for a HoF, a vote will be made on the score.

No examples, just stating what your comment meant.

"How a global, HOF, or ATH is syntaxed in the chat window is how it will be scored" is how your statement could be paraphrased into a rule.

I only stated the obvious ATH as a clear example. Stating extremes is one way to not only illustrate a rule, but also is a way to show the weakeness of some rules or how they can be abused. That's all I was doing.

The global in that thread *should* have been a HOF by all accounts. If you can think of a scenario why it was NOT, please let me know. I was only pointing it out to show that there seems to have been some bugs introduced with the 100-HOF lists, soemthing we didn't have in last year's WOF. It's nice to put a bit of forethought into the rules BEFORE a competition to avoid problems DURING a competition. I detest changing rules in the middle of a game.

I saw the highest scoring team win ...I think all the teams in the finals were pretty good.

Chillax! I'm not doubting your abilities...I just saw a possible situation, an error in recording HOF in the games software, and wanted to bring it to your attention. Prometheus is my god of gods!

The rules are one of my best weapons/tools for the WOF. I'm just making sure they are in good working order.
