Seeded Teams possible Rule Change?

I need to put a poll to you; do you think the Seeded Teams for the group Stages should stay as the top 6 from last year, or change to the top 6 from this year? It has come to my attention that there are several teams who did not get to try last year, so it would make it fairer; also it would give more drama at the top end of the Table, where at the moment only qualification is at stake.

At present the Seeded places in each group go to the top 6 teams from last year if they qualify; the proposal is for the top 6 scoring Qualifiers from this year to be Seeded instead. Your opinions please

Although I wasn't in Wof last year, my Team did well and finished in top 3 (I think). With all this in mind I still believe it's fair that the Seeded Teams to be the top ones from 2008.

I think if the teams were static from year to year it would be kinda cool to use the results from last year, but given how things have changed I think its best to use this years results.

Given the first round results and history already discussed.

I would like to vote for the 2008 first 6 teams be seeded.

Seeding the Top 6 from the 2008 qualifiers is a better idea in my opinion. The tournament and the teams themselves are so different from last year's that I think this makes much more sense.

It would also provide an incentive for teams to work hard in the second qualifying round even if they feel they've already done enough to qualify for the group stage.

I agree. The rule change would indeed spice up the top half of the table in Stage 2. Even though it may mean Eudoria loosing their 6th seeded place, I think it would make it a lot more entertaining for the participants and 'Viewers' alike.

I hope team Eudoria doesn't court marshal me for saying that....

Also, I've already made it a different colour

True, and furthermore, this is a totally new WoF which has nothing to do with the past year one.

Only this years results should be considered.
