I do have some ideas for mining as well but they would require a fair bit of new coding to implement.

For example I think it would be pretty cool to have volatile resources that are under pressure and must be extracted fast or the rig will explode.

interesting idea.. certainly there isn't currently a massive amount of point to fast extractors... still there is some and certainly for the hard core miners who view time as money. Seen some folks use cars between drops to speed the turn over up. Some say its all about the churn.

Well I always liked em cause it gives stuff for people to make. Maybe they should work differently though. ie more like vehicles. You can repair them but each time the overall value drops.

I like having armour that I don't have to worry about repairing to get maximum defense although I can see the advantage to doing this if you worry about run costs (ie a hunting run).

I like L also cause I can progress without investing massively on expensive guns. Also I like the SIB and the feeling of progressing to max a weapon at a low level. Its better for progression and also for using a weapon well
