    Fast Trade

Hello, Fast Trade is a program that can scan materials from a trade window, and then calculate the values/total according to your own markups.

Fast Trade was developed to help traders… All you have to do is press the Scan button... and let the program do the math, no more spreadsheets, no more calculators, and no more lines in Twin Peaks. For now, Fast Trade can save time for both buyers and sellers, and in the future it will log your trades and give you stats/reports.

Follow this link to download Fast Trade and for a more detailed description :

Impressions/suggestions/critics/questions are very welcome. If you like Fast Trade and find it useful, please reply with a little “Thank you” post. It took a lot of time and hard work to make it… so please, post a tiny little quick replay so I know my time was well spent, and that my work is appreciated. Also, I wanna thank 711 for hosting my database for free.

Fast Trade is free for everyone to use. Donations, bumps and +reps are very appreciated

    IMPORTANT:
    • Never download Fast Trade from an unknown source.
    • By downloading this program, you agree that it sends information to my server, nothing that violates you privacy though... The only thing Fast Trade sends is information about the way material names are displayed in your trade window. This allows me to improve Fast trade's scanning ability.
    • You can report bugs by posting here, PMing me, or by mail.
    • If the bug is related to the scanning feature, please take a screen shot in BMP or PNG format and email it to me at : fast_trade@hotmail.com

    HOW TO INSTALL:
    1. You need to have Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) installed on your machine, it’s free and can be downloaded from Here.
    2. Download the .rar file for the link above, then extract.
    3. Open "run Fast Trade.bat" or "Fast Trade.jar" to start Fast Trade.

    • Updated for VU 14.4 (font change)
    v3.6.0 - 3/8/2013
    • When scanning, Fast Trade will blink to avoid covering the trade window.
    • Unlimited number of models (better scanning, and more flexible database update).
    • Added a splash screen.
    • Dynamic notification dialog.
    v3.5.0 - 12/02/2011
    • New GUI.
    • Added "Last update" column.
    • New option: Use MU edited from trade panel for the current trade only
    • New feature , Snap and send.
    • New search/filter options in edit panel.
    • Added "Planet" column.
    • Faster launching time.
    v3.4.0 - 25/11/2010
    • Using a set of models for every material, instead of just one.
    • Sending data applies to recognized materials as well.
    • Edited markups are in a different color.
    v3.3.0 - 18/11/2010
    • Materials in the trade table are not stacked anymore.
    • Using stack TT value in stead of quantity.
    • Check boxes and Text field filters added.

    • Edit table is now sorted alphabetically.
    • Materials name drop box is now sorted alphabetically.

    • Updated for Crytropia

Fast Trade 3.2.0 Beta is now available

    Changed :
    • Materials in the trade table are not stacked anymore... example: the same material added twice to a trade will show as 2 different stacks in 2 different rows.
    • Fast Trade no longer uses quantity to calculate the final value, in stead it uses the stack TT value.

    New:
    • Check boxes added to Edit Panel to filter materials according to the type.
    • Text field added to Edit Panel to filter materials according to the name (not working very well atm, and it's case sensitive).
    • When editing a markup value, the cell's content is automatically selected, so you wont have to delete anything, and you can still see the initial value.
    • Edit table is now sorted alphabetically.
    • Materials name drop box is now sorted alphabetically.
    • Colors added to TTvsTT (red when different, green when the same) (calculated TT value shows an inaccurate value sometimes, I'm aware of this problem).

Removed: But will be reintroduced little by little
    • Abbreviations
    • Hot-keys
    • Help
    • Contact panel
    • Editing markups in the middle of a trade
    • Editing markups from the trade table
    • Export to .TXT and export to .CSV

PS: Save file is now named "fast_trade_save.txt"... the old save files might not work, but I'm not very sure as i didn't give it much thought. Anyway, it's better to start fresh with a new file.

    • Editing markups from the trade table

PS: Editing the markup from trade table doesn't make it show in a different color, will be changed in a coming release.

PS2: Your old save file should be working fine with this new version.

Fast Trade 3.5.0 is now available at http://www.entropiaforum.com/fast-trade/download.php

    What's new:
    • New GUI.
    • Instead of coloring edited markups, I added a column called "Last update" which contains the date and time of the last time you edit a markup... so you can sort the table by this column to see the latest updates.
    • New option: Use MU edited from trade panel for the current trade only
      • If checked : MU edited from trade panel will be applied to that stack only... other stacks of the same material in that trade will not be affected.
      • If unchecked : MU in edit panel will change as well, and the last update time will change too... other stacks of the same material in that trade will change to the new MU.
    • New feature , Snap and send : Sending screenies can't get any easer or faster than this... just write a description message and press the button, your screen will be captured and sent to me.
    • New search/filter options in edit panel.
    • Added "Planet column".
    • Abbreviations are back (but can not be used to add materials to the trade yet).
    • Auto-select-all when editing MU in both trade and edit panels.
    • Faster launching time.

PS: Your old save file is not supposed to be working with this new version... I'm made little a program to convert the save file...download link : Save File Converter 3.5.0.jar

you need to be sure the trade window is visible (not covered) and that it is active (very important)
