Swamp Mission Problem

After completing the first two steps of the swamp mission i.e. found the swamp broker and sweated the required sweat, I get a message saying well done, return to me for a reward and the next step. Cannot find the swamp mission broker. Went back to where I thought I remebered him being and he is not in sight. The tracking green circle, has me go up to the lake to the Northwwest, but he is not there either. Can anyone tell me where he is supposed to be? I would like to continue the mission chain.
