    Entropia Universe 12.8.1 Release Notes

    • An issue related to auction orders being filled incorrectly has been fixed.
    • Discovered items are once again announced in global chat and displayed on the Hall of Fame board.
    • Messages related to skill unlocks and skill gains once again display correctly.
    • An issue related to unlocking skills after inserting skillchips has been fixed.
    • Profession titles once again display correctly.
    • Various other fixes to improve client stability.
    MindArk and the Planet Partners strive to ensure a smooth and problem-free Version Update. Nevertheless, even after extensive testing some issues may arise after release. Such issues are often addressed via mini-patches directly after a release and in subsequent patches. If you feel that the possibility of encountering minor issues or bugs directly after a Version Update affects your gameplay to an extent that Entropia Universe is not enjoyable, please wait until the mini-patches have been released and any last minute issues have been resolved.

    Thumbs Down Account Locked For No Reason!

    How about telling us whos accounts got locked for no reason when our accounts will be unlocked???? Not a single person at MindArk is showing any concern for the people with locked accounts. Is it fair that everyone else can get online yet we cannot? It is not our fault that this update has messed with accounts. Fixing the accounts of the people that cannot login should be a priority or is it all about making the money from the people that can login? I have sent 2 support cases and gotten no response. This is not at all right when real money is involved. MindArk needs to have some kind of support/phone # to contact instead of this email stuff that gets no response.

    yes it is a big problem I just got an automatically generated message from suport centers: Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. I have been informed that this account has been locked in conjunction to an internal investigation and should be unlocked as soon as the investigation is over.Thank you for your patience and please accept our sincere apologies for the inconveniences this causes you. Kind regards, Entropia Universe Support...... good. But for how long? hours? days? month? years? decade? century?

    I completely agree.. That is the same message I recieved yesterday. MindArk is not telling us whats going on and when I deposit real cash, I deserve to know what is going on!!

    And after I got that reply yesterday, I sent another case lastnight with questions and MindArk just responded with the EXACT SAME MESSAGE AGAIN and closed the case!!! Wow, this site does not know how to do business. When you have my money, I Have the right to know whats going on. I am really thinking about just looking for a new game to play because this is just not right, no way to conduct business..

    Locked after 12.8.1?

    Hmm, My account was open and ok after 12.8, but after patch 12.8.1 it seems to be locked, why?

    Still alot of bugs. At Arkadia right now:

    - Can´t tier upgrade my Corvus L armor. Info panel shows the pic of the armor but no description and no tier slots on some armor parts. Annoying to lose ped because I can not upgrade Armor durability enhancers even the chat notified me it is at tier 2 now.

    - Ped flow center shows me a windows at the screen for about 30 min. "Please wait" and can´t x-it out.

    - Loot balance just terrible. Buying 50 peds of ammo, loot return about 50%. That is worse as ever before for players, good for MA - if they can still keep player base.

    you had your account locked

    my nephue had all his skills reset and they not going to fix it

    they say with him not logging in for about the last 2 years they dont know how it happened and they dont have records going back that far so there is nothing they can do so another player leaves for no good reason exept the staff being usless again

    (there should be an organisation that monitors games for inaction on these topics and prosicutes them to the full extent of the law. when they fall short of dooing any action.)

    As a player you should be aware of the Terms of Use seeing as you have to agree to every time you log in.

    These include a provision for inactive accounts:
    5.4. Inactivated Account

    You acknowledge and agree that Your Entropia Universe Account will be deemed Inactive if it has not been logged into for a period of three hundred (300) consecutive days.

    You further acknowledge and agree that Your Entropia Universe Account will be Terminated if it is not used for a period of seven hundred and fifty (750) consecutive days (i.e., 450 days after Your Account has been deemed Inactive).

    You hereby explicitly consent that after the period of 750 days of inactivity Your Entropia Universe Account is deemed to have been abandoned by You. You also agree to assign MindArk and/or MindArk's Partner all rights in Your Terminated Entropia Universe Account according to the procedures established in this paragraph 5. You hereby discharge MindArk, any of MindArk's Partners and their respective officers, directors and employees, from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, costs, and expenses to You arising out of, or relating to, Your Terminated Entropia Universe Account.
    750 days is a little over 2years - about the period of time that your nephew hadnt logged in for, wouldnt you say.

    The Terms of Use also say what happens to the account once it's been terminated:
    Terminated Account (or “Account Termination”) means that the Account is purged and that You will no longer be able to retrieve its contents or to re-activate it to access Entropia Universe. Purging the Account means that, when applicable, all skills will be deleted, any estate deeds will be transferred back to MindArk and/or MindArk's Partner and the virtual objects on the Account will be exchanged for their Trade Terminal (TT) value. The aggregated value will be added to the balance on the PED Card connected to Your Account for You to withdraw if exceeding the minimal withdrawal limit of 1 000 PED. Any pending transactions involving a Terminated Account will be revoked.
    So right there, it says that the skills will be deleted when the account is terminated - and that includes termination due to inactivity.
