Ever come to a situation where you need PED urgently and you end up TT’ing stuffs in your inventory which is worth much more in market value? Well, that had occurred to me quite a number of times already. So I decided to come up with a plan to benefit all.



1.1 Introduction
STTS intend to minimize the losses of players who TT’ed their stuff in return for quick cash. With the initial running capital of 1,000 PED (revised to 5,000 ped as at 31/12/2008), I will be aiming to collect as much “scrap” items as possible and then sell them in bulk for profit.


1.2 Scrap item?
Ok, you will probably wonder what's the meaning of scrap item is. To put it simple, any item that you don’t need. From hides to extractors, wools to animal residues, ores to enmmatters, fruits to sweats, explosive projectiles and so on (anything you willing to TT to generate quick cash).

1.3 Ok, interesting, but what do I get from this?
The whole idea for this plan is to collect “scrap” from players at TT value and sells it in bulk at mark up price for profit and the profit will be redistribute back to players. Players who participate will in return get STTS points which can be exchanged for STTS shares at later date.


STTS PLAN OPERATION OVERVIEW

1.4 This is too good to be true, what do you get?
Well, I will be taking 30% commission profit made through the sales of the "scrap item" and the remaining 70% will be refunded to the owner.


1.5 Ermmmmmmm......
Still doubting? Well this plan required thrust and participation from players. I shall get started with scrap item with low mark up scrap item and once the foundation of trust is built, we will go for scrap items that have higher mark up value. Rest assured that I’m acting with goodwill (of course with the aim of making a bit profit).

1.6 Getting started (I)
To kick start this plan, I will be online in the following designated time slot to buy all the scrap items from players at TT value. Reservation can be made at forum for any time out site the provided time frame. Leave your in-game nick, time and place to trade and TT value of the amount you want to trade. Every transaction will be supported by print screen and i will process the deal.

Scheduled time slot will be subjected to PED's availability. If i'm not thr as suggested in the time time slot, i'm PED out =).

1.7 Getting started (II)
Every done deal will built up our stock list. The larger it gets the easier the future business to be done. Each sales of stock will be accompanied with screenshot to act as a proof on what is actually the selling price. Each participant can ask for the print screen anytime. Apart from individual dealing, some of the stock will be put on auction. Anything sold in auction will also be proved with a screenshot.

Please bear in mind that the sales of the stock will be base on First-in-first-out method (FIFO). E.g. Participant A TT’ed me 1,000 explosive projectiles (EP). 1 hour later Participant B TT’ed me 10,000 EP. At the end of the day, a buyer ordered 1,500 explosive projectiles from me. I will sell Participant A’s 1,000 EP first and then the remaining 500 EP will come from Participant B’s stock.

For profit redistribution, it will be on a weekly basis. I’ll redistribute back profits to participants every Wednesday in between 1400 - 1600 MA time. Frequency, time and location for redistribution can be changed subjected to request by participants.

1.8 Getting started (III)
Hold on... what’s with the I and we?? Isn’t this your plan? This plan is built base on trust and participation of players. Therefore for every “trust” you give to STTS, you will be rewarded with STTS points. The aim of this incentive is to encourage players to participate and realistically provide opportunity for players to become partners to the plan itself.

The last batch of STTS points had been cutoff (reset) on 15/1/2009 as part of the launching of STTS shares. All the STTS points accumulated by participants up to that date had been converted to STTS shares at the rate of 1 STTS point for 1 STTS shares.

1.9 STTS Shares & Investment

Since the commencement of STTS plan, the plan had evolved in great ways to provide better service and investment opportunities to players of Entropia Universe. STTS investment was introduced to at allow for operating capital increment which is necessary to bring STTS to new height. Any amount invested in the scheme will entitled 1.5% cummulative interest charged on weekly basis. The current status of investments can be referred to at STTS Shares & Investment thread.

As mentioned earlier, STTS Shares had been issued to holder of STTS points. Holders of STTS shares will be reflected as "co-owner" of STTS plan and will be entitled dividends payout. The dividend payouts will be on monthly basis base on the overall revenue generated by STTS plan throughout the month. The percentage of profits allocated to dividends payout ranges from 50% - 90% of the net profits earned. 1.11 STTS Management Team

To further enhanced the services provided by STTS plan, several recruitment had been made. Participants can now deal directly with STTS agents to offload their TT stuff. The procedures when dealing with Agents remain the same to as dealing with me.

Q. I sold my stuff you. What should i check for to confirm the transaction?

A. Every accepted transactions will be included in the Participant Movement list. The list will include items and quantity of stuff transacted. It will be updated on weekly basis mostly on Sunday.

Q. I found my stuff, its been 2-3 weeks now since we made the deal. Why i am still not refunded?

A. TT stuff accepted from participants will be dealt differently depending on the quantity as well as the market demand for it. Items with low demand will be sold in smaller batches and they would required longer time to be completely sold off. As for items in small quantity, accumulation of the item is necessary to ensure the auction fees paid for selling them do not eat out the markup of the item.

All the completed sales will undergone series of processes to determine the owner of the items and their shares of the mark up profits. Due to heavy workload of the process, there will only be updates of 120 sales transaction every week. The updates on the sales will be on Wednesday around 1400~1500 MA time.

Q. Ok, i know you got heavy workload but i need my refund now! When can have them?

A. Firstly, i would like to give assurance to all STTS participants that profits arising from the sales of your stuff will be refunded no matter what. In fact, the longer the delays of the refunds, the more beneficial it is to the participants themselves. Let me briefly explain how could this be:

Example:

A participant sold to STTS 100 PED stuff with 110% market value. I sold all of them and have 110 PED on hand. With that 110 PED on hand, i bought another 110 PED of stuff with 110% market value. Now i got 121 PED on hand. As i repeat the steps to the 10th cycle, i would have 260 PED on hand (with the assumptions that variables remain the same). Now, i can refund the initial participants the 10 PED (Less commission) that i hold at the first place and repeat it to the second participants after the 11th cycle.

If i had refunded the 10 PED once the sales was done, i would only have 100 PED for each trade up to the 10th trade instead of the 260 PED calculated above.

It would be crucial for STTS to have bigger operating capital on hand through partial release of refund so that more items could be accepted and more profits earned. Do remember that each done sales will earn you STTS points which can be converted to STTS shares. This will make you partial owner of the plan and the more profitable the plan is, the bigger chunk of dividends you are entitled to.

Q. I tried to find you at the scheduled time slot but you are not there! Why?

A. The constrain of STTS plan had always been the operating capital available. My agents and I were operating with limited capital and they tend to be exhausted pretty fast. We would require some time to sale off items received to free up the PED before we would be available to accept more. Therefore, from now onwards if i am not online on the designated time slot, i am PED out!
